Nature Programs & Events

The Organization for Bat Conservation!

Join us, Saturday, June 17th in welcoming the Organization for Bat Conservation to Onondaga Cave. OFA is sponsoring free public daytime presentations.
Live bats will be on-site with programs and activities centered around learning about the importance of these friendly, furry mammals.
If you feel strongly about bat education and appreciate OFA's sponsorship to bring free quality educational programs to you, your children and the community, we would very much appreciate any size donation to help off-set our costs - please go to https://www.gofundme.com/OFALovesBats for more information about the event and to donate. Riley the Bat, Chief Executive of Onondaga Cave, says thank you! :-)

The enchanting evening membership-drive Bats & Bards event and program follows the free daytime programs, from 6 to 10.
Follow the link for the batty daytime schedule, to be held at the Visitor Center from 10 to 4.

Watch this to see where Onondaga Cave ended up for 2015! How cool is that? All caves are amazing, but both Onondaga AND Cathedral Caves really are so beautiful, such rare gems. If you haven’t been to these caves, or if it’s been a long time, plan to visit them this year!
